Kilometres of sandy beaches, a pine-dune park (planted in the 19th century to shield the town from sand), a marina at the Segura mouth and basic town amenities. Alicante airport is roughly 30–35 minutes — closer than from Torrevieja.

Guardamar suits the minimal-budget buyer who values nature and quiet over big-resort infrastructure; a good low-cost entry into rental income.

Demand is distinctly summer-led — people come for beaches and dunes mainly in high season; the town is quieter in winter, so income concentrates in the warm months.
